At an early age of 6 months Rimshot was treeing his own squirrels. He wasn't the fastest to the tree, but when he treed, you can count on it being there. Squirrels weren't the only thing he loved to tree. Rimshot was also an excellent coon dog as well. He began winning his first hunts at the age of 2 and went on from there becoming a Grand Squirrel Champion by the age of 3.
